inning room update...Last week I went to Ikea for the very first time. I ended up with some great purchases and really cannot wait to go again. I have decided it is probably easiest to take on our home one room at a time. The dinning room was up today. Randy and I bought curtain rods, hemmed, and then hung new curtains from Ikea. They are lined and fabulous. I think I paid $59.00 per package and there were 2 in the package. We have talked about getting some green grosgrain ribbon to use as tie backs on these.
While at Ikea I also purchased 4 yards of green and white striped fabric. I originally thought I wanted to use it on our porch somehow but today it hit me that it matched the curtains perfectly. So it found a new home on our dinning room chairs. Now...what is left in the dinning room? I would like to buy a large rug of some sort and a large mirror for our empty wall.

Yes! I love it! IKEA and I have a date tomorrow. So excited! I'm even leaving Audrey and Aiden in the play place so I can take my time. I haven't done that before, but I'm hoping it will work!
Love it! I just went to IKEA last weekend and bought some fabric to frame and put above the bed! I love the dining room...can't wait to see more pics of your cute house!!

Looks perfect! Love the curtains and the green and white fabric. We just spent our afternoon at IKEA here. I wanted to buy the fun panels on tracks for the window in our entertainment room, but we bought shelving for our laundry room instead. Blah. But we do need them. I just hate having to do things one room at a time.
